[IMPLEMENTED] Command-line Graph-generating
« on: December 13, 2011, 11:18 AM »
Hello,

I am working at a big german research institute and we are using e!Sankey pro (2.5.2).

We often want to generate a series of the same sankey-plot, e.g. for each month of a year or for each year.

Using Livelink with a csv (opened in Excel), we are able to quickly import values. Now we only need the ability to integrate e!Sankey into a batch-progress.

It should do:
- open the .sankey file
- update livelinks
- export

usage could be like this:
esankey.exe  mydiagramm.sankey -update --export=grafik.png

Please include this feature in your next release. (I'm sure this will be fairly easy to implement!) This would be THE reason for us to upgrade to e!sankey3.

ps: You should also be able to change Livelinks in e!Sankey, e.g. if you have inserted a new row or column in your excel-sheet.

Hello SolarSimon,

two good news for you...

Regarding the ability to edit live links: This has been implemented in version 3.0 and is already available in the latest version.

The command line parameter feature will most likely not become part of the standard version, as it targets a special user group. However, a special version is available on request that has a command line feature. Our sales staff will contact you for details.

Regards,
Peter
