Hint: Using "Sum" option for multi flow arrows
« on: March 12, 2008, 08:36 AM »
Here's another hint for the labels in Sankey diagrams created with e!Sankey.
In arrows that contain several flows ("multi flow arrows"), the arrow label will show the individual entries by default. See the multi flow arrow on the left.

If you switch to the option "Sum" in the label properties dialog, you can display the sum of all flows, if they all have the same unit type.

Additionally, if the flows can all be found in the same entries group, the name of the group ("electricity" in the image below) will be shown in the label. If they are located in different groups, you will see "Sum" instead.

Do you also have hints you wish to share with other e!Sankey users?
