Viewing and Reviewing Clipart Files
« on: August 19, 2015, 09:46 AM »
The Clipart files are stored in UMF format.. but it's a pain trying to guess what they look like.  Can they be viewed in a file browser or photo browser so I can choose the one I want from the way it looks?

Hello emdeex,

you are correct. The preview of the clipart icons in the Windows Explorer is not possible any more since the introduction of Windows 7. This is annoying, since users can not choose images by browsing through the files any more.

We will therefore abandon the .umf file format with version e!Sankey 4 (release due this fall) and not ship this clipart library in the new version any more. Instead we will provide new cliparts in PNG format.

In the meantime the only help I can offer to you is a file that contains all cliparts with their name. This can serve as a catalog to identify the cliparts. I will send a download link to this file directly to you by e-mail.
