My test license expires on the day I installed...

Hello.

I have installed the e!Sankey to test its functions, but I couldn't because
it never comes up... It did start when I finished installation, but once I closed it
and tried to start it again, it tells me that my trial has expired...

Can you help me out of this problem?
I use windows xp english version.

thank you for your support query. Would you please be so kind to send us a copy of the installation log of e!Sankey. It can be found in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\{Active User}\Application Data\ifu Hamburg\e!Sankey. This file will help us detect the problem. Please also tell us which operating system you are using.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have don as you suggest. One thing I noticed was that I found the installation log under Program Files, not under Documents and settings. I suspect that might have something to do with privilege of the system, but it is strange, because I have administrator privilege with that user I have installed the program.

Well, I'll be patient and looking forward to receiving your solution, or further question on my system.
My system is Windows XP Professional, with SP2.

Dear Mr. Fukushima,

I am very sorry but it seems that under some very rare conditions the license check fails. We overhauled this part of e!Sankey so it works better in the upcoming release. Just at the moment we are doing the tests of e!Sankey 1.1 and if everything passes we will release it on May the 7th.
We will send an e-mail when the new version is released.

I have never imagined that our PC could be so special...
Well, I will be looking forward to testing the next update
coming soon on my computer at home. In the meantime,
I installed it in another PC, and it seems it is working all right.

This has been fixed in the new version e!Sankey 1.1 available for download since May 10, 2007.

Should you still encounter problems with trial versions that give a wrong day count, please contact our support staff.

It seems that it still happens on my students' computer.  :(

This issue should be fixed with the latest version e!Sankey 1.2
