Hard to save some files...
« on: May 29, 2007, 02:34 PM »
This is Atsushi Terazono again.

After upgrading onto, I feel some problems.
When I revise SOME files, I cannot save that with the same file name.
That is, after I chose "save", the sign "compressing data" remains so long (endless...).

If I create new file name and save that, it's no problem.

I have several those problematic files as well as normal ones.
Could somebody give me answer or hint?

Dear Dr. Terazono,

thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems when saving files.
We have tested the situation you described using a Japanese Windows OS, as well as using Japanese characters in the file names. However, we could not simulate the situation you describe.

It would be interesting for us to find out which files can be saved, and which files can not be saved.
Where do you use Japanese characters (Entries, Units, Labels, Texts, File name)? Do you use large images in the files you can not save?

We would appreciate if you can send us two files: one that can be saved, the other that can not be saved (I understand you were able to save it the first time, but after making changes and trying to save it another time, it does not terminate saving). Please send these files to Your files will be handled confidentially by our support team staff.

We thank you for your cooperation!

Sorry for the silence.
It is a bit difficult to reproduce the situation.

I will send two files to
One is KadenR-9e, another is KadenR-10e.
(Both have no Japanese. I can also save many files with Japanese.)

Original file is KadenR-9e.
After I made some changes on it, I could not this file with same file name.
(Before changing, I could.)
So I renamed it as KadenR-10e.
I appreciate if you give me good advices.
