[IMPLEMENTED] Autoscale width and/or heigth of a node

Why not put a check box for autoscaling width and/or height of a node if you have connected arrow with certain height depending on quantity of a flow in an arrow?

This could be optional since it is now always the desired size of the node.

It could appear as a check box in the properties dialog.

This feature is a already scheduled for e!Sankey 2.0. So far we have not decided if it will be realized as a process option or a separate process type. We think that most users will not combine autoscaling and fixed size processes in one diagram, so it may be easier to handle this with different process types. Additionally these process types will behave differently: While fixed size processes snap to the grid with their vertices, autoscaling process need to have aligned by the center point.

The autoscaling feature for processes has been implemented in version 3.0.

To use it, click on a process and select the entry "Adapt Process Size" and then one of the commands from the cascading menu:
  • Height to Arrow
  • Width to Arrow
  • Height/Width to Arrow

The process height and/or width will be adapted to the magnitude of the largest arrow connected to the process on the respective side.

This feature can also be used for multiple selected elements (mark all processes to which this command shall be applied first.
