Support for Mac OS X
« on: August 12, 2008, 04:20 PM »
Hi there,

Is there any possibility of Mac OS X support in the future? With almost 10% of desktops now macs this is surely an important niche.

Many thanks

Conor

Hi Conor,

currently there only one way to use e!Sankey on Mac OS X: You can use a virtual machine to run a windows on your computer. But likely this is not your intention.
Allthough it is prevalent we do not see a way to build a native version of e!Sankey for Mac OS X at the moment. It would be a very interesting task and there will definitly be a number of users who will be happy about that, but we need to have an eye on the effort resp. costs and income of supporting another OS. So far we do not see that this will be profitable. And unfortunatly that also applies to Linux.
I am very sorry for not having better news for you!
